Rochester, N.Y. - One local man says he's uncovered the true identity of the Mona Lisa.

Ron Piccirillo is a Rochester based artist and graphic designer who was a guest on Rochester’s CW Tuesday.

Piccirillo has identified hidden subjects in Reniassance art, including the Mona Lisa and Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel.

With the Mona Lisa, he found several hidden subjects in the painting, and then found some Da Vinci writings which he says back up his theories.

Those theories are making international headlines. The art world in Europe, especially, is paying attention to what Piccirillo has to say.
