Rochester, N.Y. - Monroe Community College has reached a tentative agreement with its teachers and staff with the help of a federal mediator.
The contract between the college and the teachers' union expired last August. The Monroe Community College Faculty Association represents about 1,200 MCC employees.
Details of the deal have not been released.
Both the union and board of trustees need to approve the proposal before it goes in place.
