(13WHAM-TV) - Former Congressman Dan Maffei has reclaimed his old seat after losing it two years ago.
In the 24th district which stretches to Syracuse, the Democrat defeated Republican incumbent Ann Marie Buerkle 50 to 42 percent.
Two years ago, in one of the closest races in the country, Buerkle upset Maffei's bid for re-election.
