Man, 85, Rescued From Burning Home

Rochester, N.Y. -A man is in the hospital with serious injuries after his house caught fire early Monday morning.

Police sat they rescued an 85-year-old man from the second floor of a burning home on Wilkins Street around 1:30.

Emergency workers started CPR and took him to Rochester General Hospital.

A firefighter was also injured, but his injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
