Police Arrest Kidnapping, Robbery Suspect

Irondequoit, N.Y. - Police arrested a man they say threatened and kidnapped a woman, before stealing money from her bank accounts.

Anthony Cannella is charged with robbery, kidnapping and grand larceny for the August 30th incident.

Police say he forced a woman at knifepoint into her car outside St. Josephat's Church on E. Ridge Rd. and then stole her ATM card.

Cannella is accused of then driving to several area banks and stealing money from the victim's account. He later left the victim unharmed.

Irondequoit Police are crediting tips from the public for the arrest in this case.
