Buffalo, N.Y. -- Police say a Buffalo man who tried to pass a counterfeit bill is being charged with felony forgery.

Larry Jones, 35, was at Darien Lake Theme Park according to police, when he tried to pay for food with a fake fifty-dollar-bill.

When he was confronted by security and arrested, he allegedly tried to eat several more of the bills to destroy them.

Jones is being charged with forgery and tampering with evidence.
