St. Lucie Co. Fla. /Monroe Co., N.Y. – Carlos Rodrigues, 44, was arrested in Florida on January 26, and is being held in connection with charges of sodomy, and endangering the welfare of a child in Monroe County.
According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office., when arrested there, he was charged with driving without a valid license and giving false ID to officers.
A portable fingerprint reader processed his information, which connected him with Monroe County, New York.
New York State must seek extradition to get him back to Monroe County.
His arraignment is set for February 21.
