Rochester, N.Y. - Police say Ernest Bright was hit by a car on W. Main St. Wednesday after he made a U-turn into oncoming traffic.
The 53-year-old was riding his bike on the sidewalk around 6:30 p.m., when he rode into oncoming traffic.
He was hit by a car and has life-threatening injuries.
Rochester Police say the driver was not at fault in the crash and therefore will not be ticketed.
