Rochester, N.Y. - A man was shot in the leg Monday night in an attempted robbery, while he was brushing off his car.
Rochester Police said John Holtz, 54, was brushing snow off of his car in the parking lot of the Otis-Del Bar on Otis Street in Rochester at 9 p.m. Monday.
Investigators say a man walked up to Holtz, and demanded cash. Holtz hit the suspect with his snow brush, and the suspect shot him in the lower leg.
The suspect ran away without taking anything.
The victim was treated an released at the hospital.
No arrests have been made.
