Rochester, N.Y. - Police answered a call to the scene of a shooting on Joseph Avenue overnight.
Officers say 32-year-old Taufik Nasser of Rochester was shot in the lower body.
Nasser is in stable condition at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Police say he was approached and then shot. The suspect then fled the area.
There are no suspects in custody, but police say they have some leads in the case.
