Rochester, N.Y. – A man was stabbed on Lyell Avenue and Whitney Street Wednesday.
Police say Carlos Rivera, 20, was approached by two suspects who demanded his property. When Rivera refused, the suspects stabbed him in the chest and abdomen.
Emergency services say Rivera was found on Sherman Street around 1:40 p.m., two blocks from where the incident was reported.
He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
