Fairport, N.Y. - They rowed for 24 hours straight...all for Newtown.
Members of the Fairport Crew Club took some short breaks, but it's still impressive.
The "Row for Newtown" fundraiser benefits the families affected by the Sandy Hook School shooting tragedy.
Crew members began rowing at 7 o'clock Monday morning and did not stop until 7 a.m. Tuesday.
"I thought it was a great idea to help out in the community and reach out to other people,” said crew member Paul Derleth. “And let them know that they're not alone…and we can all help out."
The group expected to raise at least $4,000.
