Marcos Ambrose Wins At Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen, N.Y. – Marcos Ambrose passed Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski on the final lap to win Sunday’s Finger Lakes 355 at Watkins Glen International.

Busch passed Keselowski and Ambrose on a restart with 16 laps to go. He pulled away by more than two seconds in the closing laps, while Keselowski passed Ambrose for second.

Busch’s car slowed down shortly before the white flag, allowing Keselowski and Ambrose to close in. Busch spun in turn two on the final lap, leaving Keselowski and Ambrose to battle for the lead.

Ambrose held off Keselowski for the second straight year to win at Watkins Glen. It was his second career NASCAR Sprint Cup victory.

Several drivers complained about oil on the track following the race. Busch did not speak to the media immediately after.

Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer and Sam Hornish Jr. rounded out the top five.
