Rochester, N.Y. - The Mary Cariola Children's Center has appointed a new leader. Karen Zandi has been named the organization's President and CEO.
Zandi spent 25 years at Hillside Family of Agencies, and most recently served as Hillside's Executive Director.
She has a Master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
In her new role, Zandi will oversee a $98 million budget. She replaces long time agency president Paul Scott, who retired in June.
The Mary Cariola Children's Center serves 400 children and young adults with multiple and complex disabilities.
