Rochester/New York City, NY --- Multiple sources confirm for me that the now former Congressman Eric Massa left Rochester International Airport just before noon Tuesday. A 13WHAM News camera was there to watch his flight take off. By the time I got to the airport Massa was already on the other side of the TSA checkpoint but multiple employees report and confirm he was there and which flight he left on.
Massa is set to appear on Glenn Beck's FoxNews show for a full hour Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m. Reports are also circulating that he's booked to appear on Larry King Live for CNN.
My many attempts to reach him personally finally came to fruition in a brief text message exchange. Nothing of substance to reveal but for those constituents of the 29th Congressional District waiting to hear directly from Massa through local media channels I can tell you I laid forth my case. When asked if my honest and fair coverage of him for more than 5 years will matter I received simply this reply: "It will."
