Rochester, N.Y.. - A McQuaid Jesuit High School crew team left from Buffalo on Thursday, June 14 for a week-long race.
The route is 340 miles on the Erie Canal from Buffalo to Albany, and they’re doing it to raise money for juvenile diabetes research.
Racing one of their biggest rivals, Canisius High School, made it a little more exciting.
Also, it looks like they are on time for Thursday's noon arrival near Albany in Waterford.
Their effort has raised more than $54,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
