Rochester, N.Y. - The McQuaid crew team will row through the Rochester area today with a big goal in mind.
The team from Rochester’s McQuaid Jesuit High School is rowing on the 340 miles on the Erie Canal from Buffalo to Albany.
They're racing one of their biggest rivals, Canisius High School, to raise $50,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The team joined us earlier this week on 13WHAM News This Morning to tell us about their goal.
