Vermont - A 23-year-old graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester has been sentenced for a drunk driving crash that killed a Norwich University student.

Derek Seber received a sentence of two-and-half-years in prison for the crash that happened last year.

He promised to spend the rest of his life educating others about the dangers of drinking and driving.

The victim's family called the two-and-half-year sentence “a despicable slap on the wrist."
