Rochester, N.Y. – No one was injured when an apartment building caught fire Sunday afternoon on the city’s south side.

Fire officials say a dryer caught fire in the basement of a Metropolitan Drive apartment building off Westfall Road near the Brighton border around 1:45 p.m.

They say the apartment sustained some smoke damage. The Red Cross is providing temporary housing to two adults and two children.
