Rochester, N.Y. - Twenty two men and women have joined the ranks of the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
They are part of the 56th recruit class.
The deputies were sworn in Monday by Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn.
The will have to complete six months of training at the police academy before they begin their normal duties.
