Mother Charged With Driving High With Child In Car

Macedon, N.Y. -  A mother from Wayne County is accused of driving high on drugs with her six-year-old child in the car.

Macedon Police say 27-year-old Erin Homer of Palmyra was involved in a crash on Route 350 in Macedon. 

Police say Homer was driving under the influence of drugs when she went off the road, hit the railroad tracks and then hit a tree head-on.

Homer was arrested and charged with Felony DWI from a previous conviction in the Town of Macedon in December of 2009, Felony Aggravated DWI for having a child in the vehicle as well as failure to maintain lane and uninspected motor vehicle.
