Rochester, N.Y. - Police say Mark Scerbo, 22, was riding his motorcycle behind his girlfriend's SUV on Sunday popping wheelies.
When he tried to pass his girlfriend on the road’s shoulder, he hit Fairport School teacher Heather Boyum with his motorcycle--in what was likely the first event in a series that took Boylum’s life that day.
Mark Scerbo is in guarded condition at Strong Hospital as of 7 a.m. Monday.
