Chili, N.Y. - Monroe County Sheriff Deputies are investigating a 3-vehicle crash on Scottsville Road in Chili.

Deputies say a motorcyclist hurt in the crash was taken to Strong Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash - involving a motorcycle, a pick-up truck and a Newark school bus - happened around 9am Thursday morning on Scottsville Road.

Deputies say the truck was heading northbound, waiting to make a left hand turn when the truck was struck from behind.

The collision sent the truck into the southbound lane where it struck the motorcycle - the school bus then struck the northbound vehicle.

A 10-year old child, a monitor and the bus driver were the only ones on board - they were not injured.
