Rochester, N.Y. - Police say a man was shot overnight while sitting in his car.
They first got a call about the shooting around 1 a.m.
The victim was sitting in his car on Lyell Avenue when an armed man approached.
Police say the man fired five or six shots into the car.
The victim was hit once in the torso. His passenger then drove him to Rochester General Hospital.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
