Rochester, N.Y. - A man convicted of murdering a woman in 2005 and assaulting another man was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison Tuesday.
Jeffrey Miller shot and killed Shunda Cuyler on Woodbine Avenue. Police found her lying on the floor of her home.
Miller was also charged with and convicted of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
His sentences for each crime will run concurrently, something Assistant District Attorney Perry Duckles asked the judge for because he says Miller never took responsibility for his actions.
