Rochester, N.Y. - Opening arguments began Tuesday morning in the second trial of a Rochester man charged in a strangling death.
Prosecutors believe Matthew Townsend strangled Toccara Harmon, 27, inside a Spencer Street Home in January 2011. Her body was found dumped into a city garbage tote on Lyell Avenue.
A mistrial was declared in October, after a judge ruled three jurors were grossly unqualified. The jurors in question reportedly discussed the case with one another.
