Rochester, N.Y. - A Rochester woman is facing charges for giving marijuana to an inmate during a jail visit.

Kiara Bates, 19, is now being held on bail for promoting prison contraband after police found the drugs on William Wilkins.

Police also found several batteries and bars of soap tied together to form a weapon in Wilkins' belongings.

Wilkins is currently being held on murder and robbery charges. He and Kesean McKenzie-Smith are accused of shooting 19-year-old Montre Bradley while he was waiting to buy sneakers outside a Gates store last year.

Wilkins now faces two counts of promoting prison contraband.
