Rochester, N.Y. – A teen from New Jersey has been arrested and charged with arson at a residence on Copeland Street.
Luchina Moore, 18, had already run Monday night when the fire department arrived at #80 where they found a small fire in the kitchen.
They put out the fire and found Moore at the Amtrak Station Tuesday around 2:00 p.m. waiting to board a train.
She was charged with felony arson for setting an incendiary fire inside an occupied multi-unit residence.
No injuries were reported. The fire was apparently set during a dispute between the occupants and Moore. She’s now in Monroe County Jail awaiting arraignment.
