It was great to get this interview in before things for a campaign (be it a Special Election or the General Election) heat up.  I always like the opportunity to see where candidates stand on the issues, and to see where and how those positions may or may not change over the course of a campaign.

On that very note, I'm of course interested in hearing from and speaking with Democrat Matthew Zeller who appears to be Reed's likely challenger.

Attached you'll find the raw video of this interview and I broke it up into a few parts for easier viewing.

Part #1 - Reed's story, background, and family - and also why and how he got into politics as Corning's Mayor and eventually as a Congressional Candidate.

Part #2 - Reed on Eric Massa and on his desire for the Governor to declare a Special Election in the NY-29.

Part #3 - Reed's platform - from jobs to healthcare to the federal budget.

Part #4 & 5 - Reed on the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan...this is in two parts because the tape ran out and we had to change tapes in between an answer..he also speaks about Immigration Reform as being the next "big issue" he expects to see coming down the pipeline.
