Well, it's official, Janice Volk will not be on any ballot line this fall for the NY-29. Her campaign's quest to secure 3,500 signatures to earn a spot on a newly created "Tea Party" ballot line failed. As did the attempt to secure 1,250 valid signatures and a spot on the Republican Party line.
I'll attach the press release. It says Volk will now wage a write-in campaign. I doubt voters of the NY-29th will be writing in a candidate who twice failed to assemble and mobilize the resources and organization needed to obtain valid signatures. It's probably the least constituents expect from someone with Congressional aspirations.
On a related note, the Zeller campaign finally sent out another press release today. Just announcing an endorsement which we rarely, if ever, report so I won't make exceptions today. Maybe they're
