Buffalo, N.Y. - A fired New York State trooper faces up to a year in prison for promoting prostitution.

Titus Taggart, 42, pleaded guilty in Erie County court Monday.

He worked the Thruway patrol for 18 years in Buffalo until he was suspended and eventually fired in April for organizing parties involving prostitutes.
