Hornell, N.Y. - A Hornell marine received recognition for his sacrifice on national television Wednesday night.
During her show on HLN, Nancy Grace took time to remember Zachary Smith, who was killed while serving in Afghanistan in January 2010.
"We remember American hero, Marine Lance Corporal Zachary Smith. Just 19 years old. Hornell, New York. Purple Heart combat action ribbon. Parents, Chris and Kim. Brother, Nate. Sister, Grace. Widow, Anne. Zachary Smith, American hero," Grace said near the end of her show.
