Henrietta, N.Y. – Some angels are making an appearance in Rochester this weekend.

The National Angel Quilt, featuring the faces of hundreds of children who lost their battle with cancer, is on display at Marketplace Mall. Five of the featured children are from the Rochester area.

The display is part of the Make Some Noise Foundation, founded by 14-year-old Malcolm Sutherland-Foggio of New Jersey, to raise awareness for pediatric cancer following his own diagnosis at age 10. The foundation has raised more than $900,000 since 2009.

“It’s really heartwarming to know that I’ve been helping children and their families throughout their battles,” Sutherland-Foggio said. “I just want to make sure that kids don’t have to go through the same thing that I did.”

The quilt remains on display Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
