Washington - Seven U.S. Navy Seals are being punished by the military for disclosing classified information for a video game.

Pentagon officials say the video game maker Electronic Arts paid the seals to work as consultants for "Medal of Honor: Warfighter."

The seven were accused of showing their official combat gear and disclosing classified material.

All seven were given a letter of reprimand and docked two months' pay.
