Rochester, N.Y. - A 22 year old man from Irondequoit is under arrest for the deadly hit and run crash on North Goodman Street that killed Harry Andrews.

Daniel Garver is charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident-Injury Resulting in Death and is being held on $5,000 bail.

Andrews was pouring gas into the tank of a parked sport utility vehicle Monday night when he was struck by a passing vehicle and thrown into the road.  He died from his injuries.

Police say a red light camera on North Goodman Street and Clifford Avenue caught a vehicle driving through without a passenger side mirror minutes after Andrews was hit.

On Thursday, police tracked the license plate to an address in Irondequoit.

There, they say they found a gray Ford Focus missing a mirror and license plates.

They also found damage to the passenger side and major windshield damage.

Police say Garver claimed he had been side-swiped.

Garver, a junior at Nazareth College, is due back in court on March 13th.

Andrews' family said they are relieved, but also concentrating on getting through the funeral, which is scheduled for Saturday.

Andrews was a father of two.
