Rochester, N.Y. - Anyone heading to the Rochester Public Market will be glad to know there's a new, easier way to get there.

City leaders will officially open a “new” pedestrian and shuttle bridge which spans Union Street, on Thursday, June 21.

The city rehabilitated the old railroad bridge adjacent to the market.

It's now easier and safer for pedestrians to get to the market from additional parking lots.
