Tripoli, Libya - A man with ties to the Rochester Institute of Technology is the new prime minister of Libya.

Libya's Parliament appointed Mustafa Abushagur as the country's new prime minister on Wednesday.

Abushagur is a former professor at R.I.T., and the former president of R.I.T. Dubai.
