Naples, N.Y. - Naples is getting a new mayor.
In Tuesday’s elections, newcomer Brian Schenk won a two year term, defeating incumbent Don Braun, according to our news partners at WYLF Radio,
Schenk received 107 votes compared to 60 for Braun,
Village Trustee Sargent Frappier also ran for mayor and got 59 votes.
Write in candidates received a total of 9 votes. Schenk takes office July 1.
There was a three way race for two village trustee seats, the winners were Blake Kritzberg (161 votes) and Shirley Piccarreto (117 votes).
