Seneca Falls, N.Y. – The National Women’s Hall Of Fame announced Thursday the upcoming induction of nine women into the Hall.

Betty Ford, Ina May Gaskin, Julie Krone, Kate Millet, Nancy Pelosi, Mother Mary Joseph Rogers, Bernice Resnick Sandler, Anna Jacobson Schwartz, and Emma Hart Willard will be formally indicted into the Hall Of Fame on October 12 in Seneca Falls.

The National Women’s Hall Of Fame was founded in 1969, and celebreated the achievements of American women.

“These great women include those who have pioneered work in economics, treatment of addiction, education, obstetrics, and the political arena. Their efforts impact the lives of both women and men, girls and boys, and provide us with outstanding examples of the importance of perseverance, commitment and the desire for change,” said Beverly Ryder, Co-President of the Board of Directors.

Inductees are selected every other year.
