Rochester, N.Y. – No swimming allowed Monday at Ontario Beach Park.
The Monroe County Health Department has closed swimming at the beach for the day because of excessive bacteria levels in the water. Ontario Beach will remain open for all other activities.
The water was also tested at Durand Eastman Beach Monday morning. It is open for swimming until 7:00 p.m.
