Brighton, N.Y. - A parole board denied the release of a man convicted in the rape of a comatose nursing home patient.
John Horace is serving a 25 year sentence for the crime.
His victim, known as Kathy, died a year after giving birth to a son. DNA evidence linked Horace to the sexual assault inside a Brighton nursing home in 1995.
Horace is scheduled to be released from prison in March 2013.
