London - A Colombian women's soccer player who punched Pittsford's Abby Wambach during the London Games Saturday has been suspended two games.

The Associated Press reports the World Soccer Federation says its disciplinary committee suspended Columbia’s Lady Andrade for a group match against France on Tuesday, and for the quarterfinals if Colombia advances.

Cameras captured Wambach getting punched by Colombia's Lady Andrade during an offensive rush in Saturday's game that saw the USA beat Colombia 3-0.

Wambach tweeted this photo of her black eye afterwards, saying it was the result of a sucker punch.

Wambach asked the soccer federation to investigate.

Wambach also said she considered retaliating but didn't want to be ejected from the game.
