One Last Cool Sweep For The Summer
Rochester, N.Y. - Kids will be able to enjoy one last Cool Sweep in the city.
The final Cool Sweep of the summer will be in effect Friday, August 31, in anticipation of temperatures that are expected to meet or exceed 85 degrees.
The Cool Sweep operation employs the use of a cooling spray from fire hydrants, from noon to 4 p.m., and extended hours at Genesee Valley Park Pool and Durand Eastman Beach.
City spray parks are also available to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
