Rochester, N.Y.- Two big construction companies in the Rochester area are joining forces.
The Pike Company and LECESSEE Construction Services are merging.
The Pike and LECESSE brands, as well as the entire workforces of both firms, will remain intact.
Through shared resources made possible by the merger, the companies’ project portfolios and geographic coverage will be expanded.
In a statement Monday, Andrew Hislop, president and CEO of LECESSE Construction Services, said, “I am thrilled about the opportunity to increase our project capabilities, open new markets and enable specialized knowledge sharing with The Pike Company.”
LECESSE is a full-service construction management firm with in Rochester and Altamonte Springs, Florida. LECESSE employs 90 people.
Pike has provided program management, construction management and general construction services for more than 140 years.
Pike has more than 400 full-time employees.
