Albany, N.Y. (AP) - New York State Police will be stepping up enforcement Super Bowl weekend.

Troopers say they will be increasing DWI checkpoints and patrols starting Friday, February 1 and continuing through Monday.

Troopers handed out nearly 1,800 tickets and made 13 DWI arrests during last year's "Stop DWI Crackdown."
