Penn Yan, N.Y./Washington, D.C. - A Penn Yan woman will be honored by President Obama next week for her work in the community.
Milly Bloomquist and 12 others will receive a Presidential Citizens Medal at the White House on October 20.
Bloomquist has started and worked with several programs which feed needy people in Yates County.
She was chosen from more than 6,000 nominees.
Milly is 94 years old and still going strong.
