Greece, N.Y.- The giant American flag could be seen for miles on West Ridge Road and now that the Perkins Restaurant there is closed, the flag has a new home.
Greece-Ridge firefighters are the new proud owners of the flag that used to fly over Perkins Restaurant, which closed on Sunday.
The 20x30 flag is too big to fly in front of the firehouse, so it will be used for ladder events.
It could fly for Flag Day, but details are still being worked out.
