Rochester, N.Y. – With Super Bowl XLVII underway, many people are gathering for parties in our area and across the country.

For pizzerias, that means business has been booming, with Super Bowl Sunday typically being their busiest day of the year.

The National Restaurant Association says that nearly 48 million Americans order takeout for the Super Bowl, with chicken wings and pizza being ranked as the most-eaten snacks during the big game.

The demand for wings and pizza was bountiful in our area. Mark DiPaola of Tony Pepperoni’s in Henrietta estimates that, during one three-hour span, the pizzeria made 250 pizzas and over 1,000 chicken wings.
