Batavia N.Y. (AP) - Officials say they're hoping to entice a food company to open a processing plant near Batavia that could employ as many as 400 people.
Senator Charles Schumer is asking the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide funds for infrastructure work in the area.
The company has not been named.
