Perinton, N.Y. - Police have arrested three people in connection with a string of burglaries in the Perinton area.

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies say 19-year-old Joseph Mitrano broke into a garage on Waterford Way at least three times to steal alcohol. He's charged with burglary and larceny.

Police believe Mitrano may be connected to a series of other thefts from vehicles and homes in the same area, and say more charges are possible.

Mitrano is being held in the Monroe County Jail on bail.

Police also arrested 20-year-old twins Kevin and Sean Denny for a burglary on Waterford Way on July 7.

Police were called to the home around 4 a.m. after the homeowner discovered their window had been broken out and their refrigerator had been rummaged through.

Sheriff's deputies were nearby for another investigation, and found the two suspects, who fled. One of the suspects later fought with deputies and had to be tased.

Both are facing burglary charges and are being held in the Monroe County Jail.
